Ever since the Starwar movies first came out almost everyone liked them. I mean come on how could you not, a bunch of galaxy's fighting, blowing up, and destroying eachother, its great. So when the first Starwars game came out it was expeted to be a great hit, well it wasnt, the one after that, yup you guest it, bad game. There never was a really good Starwars game (im not including Knights of the Old Republic, a great great game) and for really hardcore Starwars fans that was dissapointing. So when they heard Starwars Battlefront was coming out it really was no big deal, it was supposed to be another bad Starwars game. The key word there is SUPPOSED TO BE, well it wasnt just another bad Starwars game, no , it was one freakin fun Starwars game, thats what it was.
The storyline to this game is the same as all the other games, except with one twist you can relive the great Starwars battles that we have all come to know and love. You can choose between the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. The thing I love most about this is that you can play through both wars in one game, its great!! A new feature that I love in this game is called the Galactic Conquest. In this mode you must use team strategy to dominate all of the planets and evenutally take over all of the galaxy. What I mean by "strategy" is that before battles you can chosse between extra ships, extra reinforcement, Luke Skywalker, extra defense and many more. You must pick and choose these very well, because in certain battles you may need one thing and in another battle you made need another. The graphics in this game are not the greatest. They are preety good for the soliders and the veichales, but the some of the surroundings do not look very good. The sound effects and music in this game are great. The battlerifle, along with many other guns sounds very realistic. Also you can command your trops, telling them to hold, attack, cover you along with many other commands. I love this game not just for the sound affects or the great battles or the selection of vechicales, no i love this game for the realistic feeling it gives you when you are in a battle. I love how they make the battles so crazy and fun, with rockets, bombs, and AT-At's blowing up and crushing everything around you.
So the bad Starwars games have come to an end. With this game and KOTOR 2 coming on its way Starwars fans should be happy for the next couple of years. Heh, we waited this long for a couple of great Starwars games and now that they have fianlly come I have a feeling fans will be playing them for quite a while.
