Review: Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow Can't Post

Review: Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow

Tom clancys games have always been a favorite of mine. With very few exceptions every single one has been great.
Black arrow is a "add on" to the current #1 Xbox live game Rainbow six 3. I use the term ADD ON loosely because Black arrow is indeed a Standalone game (Rainbow six 3 isn't required) but realistically The additions are that of a standard Expansion.
Now that doesn't necessarily take away from the fact it's a excellent game. Like i always say "why mess with success". Black Arrow has alot of small but very interesting Additions that add to the game. One of the larger and more exciting additions is the Offline Co-op, Now you and your buddy can go through the entire game Side by side killing the terrorist scum. Along with 1 new gun you get two new game modes, Total Conquest: Where both Teams battle to capture and hold designated points on the map and Retrieval where Teams must race to the center to take possession of the special object, and defend it as they carry it back to the drop off point.
If you're a big clan buff the new Xbox live 3.0 features are in this game and work like a charm. Clan matches are much easier to co-ordinate and you can now have clan tags in front of your name. Briefing time before a match can be specified by the Host of the room, This is a time where only your teammates can hear you and you can all look at the maps of the levels and plan out strategies. Usually in a clan match they will have longer briefing times.
If you liked Rainbow six 3 then i suggest you pick up this title. The new maps and small tweaks will not leave you feeling cheated. If you have not played Rainbow six 3 and are curious about the First person shooter genre than i think this is a good place to start.

Pros
- New maps
- Improved AI
- New game modes
Cons
- Could of used new weapons
- Minor glitches

9.5/10
