Major gaming magazine have on average ranked NCAA Football 2005 the best game for Xbox this year (so far). Another fantastic football game has emerged for Xbox. Although some graphics issues during cutscenes are relatively unchanged from past editions, it does not detract from the overall experience. Then again, NCAA Football has never been one to outshine the competition in the graphics field. So long as Madden comes out with a stellar product as well, then NCAA will fall second once again. Not saying it's a bad game, there's going to better, which is good for the gamer. There are a few improvement in terms of sound and atmosphere, homefield advantage is definately home field advantage here. Crowds and volumes actually change venue to venue. Your team players are very dynamic, in that I mean a variety of attributes change within the game, and game by game. Individiaul compsure changes depending on success, and you even have to discipline players this time around, for breaking curfew or more serious offences. The AI was improved last year, but hasn't really seen any big improvements this time out. Overall the game does feel quite a bit similar to last years edition. Pros: Online Play, onfield player reaction, crowd invovlement Cons: No graphic improvement, moderate AI improvement, no massive changes (could be a pro I suppose.)
