Microsoft won't HD-DVD Support Can't Post
Microsoft apparently have no plans to integrate HD-DVD support into the Xbox 360. There has been speculation that Microsoft would eventually offer an HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox in 2006. While Microsoft is currently investigating its options, and if it is beneficial for the company to offer HD-DVD support in the Xbox 360, even if it were for movies only.

In the battle for the next-generation disc format, Xbox 360 HD-DVD integration would be a big plus for developer Toshiba, but it just might not be cost effective from a Microsoft gaming hardware standpoint (the box is already pretty expensive).
