What once was a unique concept for PS1 has turned into an utter disaster for PS2. Syphon Filter the Omega Strain is nothing short of bad. Very difficult third person controls make game play horrendous. To make matters worse, you can’t change the control settings, therefore any attempt to remedy the stupid key patterns is moot. Game wise, there's tons of ammo, you can carry four different weapons, lots of killing, but enemies keep regenerating, it never ends! The training missions are useless, which only compounds the problems with this game. Now I agree the story line is interesting, and the design is well done, in fact, the music is great too. However, how many buy games solely based on music and graphics? I can't see myself playing this game hours on end. Put your money towards something different.
