|
Mission 1 - Tank Ambush
Secure the radar station hill
Rendezvous w/ South Korean Lieutenant Yi
Lead your team north until you see the enemy camp on the right. Once the area is clear head over to the tower and up the stairs. Go up the slope, crouch at the top to avoid being seen. Take out the enemies, watch for any hiding behind the boxes on the left. Head up to the radar and take out the guards. Head east down the hill and join the South Koreans behind the sandbags at the bottom. Get over to the grenadier on the left and stick close to him while he takes out the tank. Now follow him up the hill on the left and crouch behind the boxes. Take out all the enemies below, looking out for any that try to sneak up on you from the right. Once the area is clear the grenadier will continue up to the top of the hill so follow him up and watch as he takes out the second tank.
Mission 2 - Broken Wings
Infiltrate the North Korean airfield
Eliminate all enemy troops
Secure the firebase
Head forward to the gap in the fence and watch as the first bombing run destroys the control tower. Kill all the enemies you see through the fence and head towards the truck. Don't move towards them or you'll be caught in the next bombing run. Stay behind the truck and wait for the explosions to stop then take out any remaining enemies, looking out for any that may be operating the mounted machinegun and also one with a rocket launcher. Move across the runway to the open hangar, looking out for more enemies appearing as you do. Kill them quickly and head inside using the forklift truck and crates as cover.
Once the room is clear head to the back and use the boxes for cover as you kill the enemies who come down the hill. Proceed up the hill to the firebase once the way is clear and crouch at the top behind the rock as you kill the nearby soldier. There's an AA gun emplacement ahead so move right and follow the side of the building on the right to keep out of its sight. At the end of the wall peek round and kill the soldier who's guarding the gun. Now head east using the crates for cover and taking out any remaining enemies. Continue east to a downward slope, using the crates as cover from the soldier with a rocket launcher. Take him out and head down the hill, watching as the area ahead is carpet-bombed. Once the bombing stops head forward and shoot the enemies hiding out in the hangar to complete the mission.
Mission 3 - Village Hunt
Locate and eliminate Major General Rhee
Head down the road to the village and use all the cover as you take out the enemies ahead. Continue forward then use the well for cover as more troops approach. Kill them all then move forward to the truck and take refuge behind it as more enemies approach. Once the way forward is clear get moving and hide behind the pile of logs on the right as you take out the next set of soldiers. Continue east until you can see the tank in the distance. You don't have the firepower on you to take it out so mark it with the SOFLAM to call in an air strike. Once it is destroyed continue forward staying low and sticking close to the fence on the left. Use the cart at the end for cover as you take out more soldiers then continue east to the group of buildings. The Major General should now appear from the left, so shoot him quickly before he makes his escape.
Mission 4 - Convoy Strike
Eliminate enemy troops at the fuel depot
Destroy first segment of the enemy convoy
Secure secondary enemy camp
Destroy second segment of the enemy convoy
Lead the team up the hill and look between the rocks at the top. You should have a clear shot on three enemies so take them out quickly and move forward to see another soldier. Once he's taken care of head west down the hill. Use of night vision goggles will help in some parts.
Look up to the left when you reach the bottom and you should just be able to see three enemies. Take them out and move forward to their position and continue west along the path. After the lightning strike two more soldiers will appear in front of you so take them down quickly. As you round the corner you will find the fuel depot. There's one enemy up on the roof so shoot him then head down the slope and to the right side of the building. Tell your team to hold position behind the building then move round to the side and hug the wall. There are a few soldiers just round the corner so take them out before the tank arrives. Once it does retreat back to the side of the building and hug the wall again. You will be able to see the tank but it won't be able to hit you. Take out your rocket launcher and fire at the rear part of the tank that you can see.
Move through the fuel depot taking out any remaining enemies. Leave the team on the ground and go up the stairs on the right. Take out your rocket launcher and crouch down, looking to the east. When you see the first truck of the convoy stand up and fire a rocket at it. Destroying the first truck will stop and destroy the second too so you should only need one shot. Rejoin your team and lead them out onto the road. Use the wreck of the tank for cover as you take out the enemies down the road. It's pretty dark so you'll need to look for their muzzle flashes to see their positions.
Once the road ahead is clear continue down the road, shooting the guard in the tower to the left on the way to the enemy camp. Use the boxes on the left for cover as you take out the two guards at the camp entrance. Destroy the stationary truck with a rocket or grenades then do the same to the other truck inside. Move towards the camp entrance slowly, looking out for enemies suddenly appearing on the right. There's another soldier up in the tower at the far end so deal with him quickly.
Mission 5 - Refinery Assault
Destroy the automated switching systems
Destroy the big refinery tower
Reach extraction zone
Lead the team forward and take out the patrolling guards you can see ahead. Move forward and shoot the enemy who approaches from the left then continue. Use the available cover and move slowly towards the building, taking out the enemies that appear on the left then inside the building. Move into the building and use the train car as cover while you kill the soldiers on the balcony at the rear of the room. Once the area is clear head to that balcony and into the room at the end of it. Put a few rounds into each of the switching systems on the left, ensuring that each of them is out of action before heading back outside. On the way out more enemies will approach.
Once outside another two enemies will attack so take them down and head southwest to the refinery. Peer round the fence and take out the guards before moving into the area. Head over to the train cars then around to the other side, taking out the two enemies who appear as you go. Now head west to the sandbags and use them for cover as you take out the multitude of enemies who appear in front of you. There's a mounted machinegun opposite; once the area is cleared of enemies leave your cover and head over to the left to see the refinery tower. Use a rocket to destroy it then move north.
Mission 6 - Caged Tiger
Infiltrate the 'Tiger's Cage' compound
Locate and secure North Korean prisoner
Escort North Korean prisoner to extraction zone
Snipe the guard at the checkpoint from a distance. Follow the road to the prison entrance, approaching in a crouch position. Kill the nearest guard standing by the truck, then move up so you can see the entrance between the bushes. There's another guard outside the entrance so kill him, then aim for more inside. There's a mounted machinegun, which should start firing. Kill the guard using it so you can move the team forward. Approach the entrance keeping to the right, as there's another machinegun inside on the right. Be careful and lean around to take out the guard controlling it, looking out for another guard who may appear on the left. Keep this position, as more guards will approach from behind this gun emplacement. Shoot them through the fence before they can get on the offensive then move the team inside when the way is clear. Head right then through the opening on the left. Turn right and quickly shoot the guard who appears then stick close to the wall. Move to the corner and lean round to see another guard waiting, shoot him. Move forward, stopping at the next corner. Lean round once again to see another guard using some crates for cover. Wait for him to peek out then eliminate him and head towards his position.
Move to the furthest building and stop at the corner beneath the red sign. Lean round to see another enemy to the right. Shoot the barrel nearby to take him out then head over and through the fence. There are enemies on the both sides. Stay below the window then pop up to take out the guards one at a time. Don't stay up too long or you will start taking hits. Once the area is clear head through the doorway and round to the right using the sandbags as cover when more guards appear. Continue forward and stick close to the wall as you move round the corner, leaning out to take out the enemies ahead. Proceed west to the corner and lean round to take out the next guard. Head round the corner and stop at the next so you can once again lean round and kill another three guards.
Stick close to the wall on the right and move to the door on the right. Lean round and kill the loan guard inside then move over to the officer's quarters to find the prisoner inside. Once you rescue him more guards will appear outside so don't just run outside. Take any hostiles out before moving then head west towards the now open gate. Use the crates for cover as more guards appear and watch for any enemies using the machinegun emplacement. Move towards the gate then lean out to the left to spot a guard hiding behind it. Take him out then head down the road where you will now have to wait for the extraction helicopter to arrive. Hold position till chopper arrives.
Mission 7 - Bird Down

Rescue Captain Thomas from the enemy

Head forward and kill the soldier up on the guard tower to the left. Move up to the rock on kill the two enemies behind the sandbags. Go towards the sandbags and another soldier will appear so shoot him quickly. Now approach the building on the hill ahead. As you move closer guards will run down the slope and attack so take care of them quickly. Continue east and kill the guard outside the building you can see. Move towards the rock ahead and use it for cover as you take out the other soldiers that appear. Once the area is seemingly clear you can move down the slope, only for more enemies to appear.
Stick close to the base of the hill. Order your team to lob up some grenades to take them out. If that doesn't work move slowly up the slope until you can get a shot. Once you get close enough to the sandbags more enemies will appear, use grenades again to clear the area. Now head back down and over to the downed chopper and plant the explosives on it. You have 20 seconds to get clear so continue northwest and kill the two soldiers next to the truck. Move forward to the nearest rock and use it for cover as you take out the guard in the tower. Stay behind the rock, there will be soldiers all along it trying to pick you off. Shoot each of them making sure you don't move from the safety of the rock. The odd shot might hit you but not as many as if you were in the open.
Look out for a guard approaching from the right then kill another group of enemies on the bridge. Once the way is clear head over to the bridge and stop at the end. Crouch down and lean out to look across the bridge. Kill the soldiers on the other side then proceed across and up the slope to the camp. Attacks will come from all corners of the base so stay low and keep you eyes open. When all the enemies have been dealt with enter the first building on the right to find Captain Thomas. Before leading him outside lean through the doorway on the left and take care of the enemies. Head outside and go east to finish.
Mission 8 - Holding On
Protect Captain Thomas until rescue chopper arrives
Head west and lead Captain Thomas to the building in the corner. Find cover and clear the enemies. The enemy soldiers will come from the same direction as you did and will try to move in on the building where Captain Thomas is. They will attack from either side of the central building so don't just focus your attention on one side. Attacking from inside the central building can give you a good view of all the approaching enemies and good cover to shoot them from. However, there is a window or door on all sides so look out for attacks coming at you through those. After a few minutes a tank will arrive and you should keep away from it at all costs. You do not have the firepower to deal with it so continue concentrating on the troops and avoid going anywhere the tank can see. Hold out until the extraction chopper arrives and it will destroy the tank, completing the mission.
Mission 9 - Tides Of War
Infiltrate the dam
Eliminate all enemy troops on top of dam
Kill the enemy with his back to you then get behind one of the trees and use it for cover. Lean out and kill all the enemy troops ahead until the way is clear. Head down to the water and proceed east, killing the four enemies who appear. As you round the corner there's two more enemy troops, so don't get caught out by them. Now look across the river to the bank on the other side and you will see a soldier with an RPG. Quickly shoot him before he fires a rocket in your direction. Cross the bridge. As you reach the other side three enemies will appear in the bushes to the right so take them out quickly then head to their position. Go round the corner and up the hill, killing some more enemies at the top.
Go through the door and get into the lift to be taken up to the top of the dam. As you reach the top be prepared for a fire fight as there are enemies lying in wait. Take them out as quickly as possible then move to the doorway and crouch down. Lean out of the door to pick off any remaining enemies, including the soldier using the mounted machine gun on the right. Once he's down another two will appear near to his position so take them out too.
Move outside slowly ensuring the area is clear then head south. As you approach the truck two more enemies will appear so use the truck for cover and lean round to shoot them. Head forward and two enemies will attack from the rear so dispose of them and continue south to one more enemy, who's hiding among the crates. Once he's down more troops and a tank will approach from the other end of the dam. You must repel this advance so head towards the tank and watch as it destroys a jeep in front of you. Take cover behind the crates to the left of where the jeep was. Lean out and shoot any troops that are approaching ensuring not to get in the line of sight of the tank. Now wait for the tank to reach the barrier and stop then take out your rocket launcher and move back until you can just see the tank over the top of the explosive crates to the right. Lean to the right and fire a rocket at the tank (taking care not to hit the explosive crates). If the first shot doesn't destroy it then fire another one off.
Mission 10 - Command Siege
Infiltrate enemy base
Secure the radar station
Plant demo charge at the radar station
Move east towards the bridge and kill the two soldiers when they come into view. Continue towards the bridge and look south across the river to see more troops on the other side. There's one in the hut and another in the tower so use the rocks for cover while you take them both out then the rest on the ground. Once Diaz says "We're in." then the way is clear and it's safe to cross the bridge.
Head across and follow the path west and take out some more troops, looking out for the guard tower concealed behind a tree. Continue forward and approach the next area slowly, picking off the enemies you can see rather than running in. As you approach the radar station more soldiers will make their presence known so use the available cover and take them out. Look out for the mounted machine gun and don't stand out in the open in its line of sight. Lean round the corner of the building behind the truck and take out the enemy operating it before proceeding forward. As you near the radar itself three more troops will appear so shoot the barrel to take two of them out then finish of the last one. Walk up to the radar and one more soldier will appear on the left so shoot him then plant two demo charges on the radar and run back the way you came (don't get caught in the blast zone) to complete the mission.
Mission 11 - Cargo Raid
Infiltrate shipyard
Call an air strike on the cargo ship Clarabóia
Shoot the soldier next to the truck and three more will appear by the barrel. Move to their position and use the truck for cover as you take out another three enemies round the corner. Follow the path round and kill the two enemies at the bottom of the hill before heading through the fence. Peer round the corner of the building to look south and shoot the three troops ahead. Go forward and more will appear both ahead and down the tunnel on the right. Move forward slowly, picking them off as you see them. Now head into the tunnel and lean round the first corner to take out the three enemies that appear. Once you leave the tunnel don't go ahead but go down the path on the right instead. Take out the two enemies as you head down this path then stop when you can see the cargo ship. Take out the SOFLAM to mark it and watch as it's destroyed and the mission is complete.
Mission 12 - Medusa
Destroy the electrical substation within 5 minutes
Eliminate all hostile troops defending the missile position
Secure the missile control room
Move the team forward and kill the two enemy soldiers by the vehicles then head to the tunnel. Kill the three troops behind the truck and proceed through to the other side. Approach the right turn with caution and use the barrier as cover while you take out the enemies at the entrance to the electrical substation, looking out for one carrying an RPG.
Head down to the entrance and take out the enemies that appear on the left and another up on the stairs ahead. Head south past the substation and take out the two soldiers that appear then go back to the substation and plant three demo charges. Two more enemies will appear to the south so take them out quickly then head north before the charges go off. Go up the hill and take out the four enemies who attack at the top. Head down to the bridge shooting the soldier next to it when you see him then head southwest along the road to the other bridge. Before you cross the bridge take out your rocket launcher and destroy the tank on the other side before it sees you. Now kill any enemies on the bridge before crossing it.
Once on the other side go up the hill on the right shooting the enemy who appears at the top. Stop at the top and lean round the corner to shoot the enemies below then wait for a tank to appear from the right. Look out for the shells it fires and destroy it with a rocket. Head down to this area and use the cover to kill the troops to the southwest. Another tank will appear so stand away from the truck and lean round to the right to see it approaching. Quickly fire off a rocket to destroy it then continue southwest to the missile control room. Go up the stairs and kill the two enemies at the top then enter the building and kill the lone enemy in the room to the left to complete the mission.
Mission 13 - Death Train
Blow up the railway bridge before the train arrives
Eliminate all enemies on the train
Cut down enemy power supply in the north camp
You're all alone once again so head forward and shoot the guard in the tower. Take refuge behind the truck and use it for cover as you take out the guards on the ground. Continue forward then look through the gate on the right and target the tank just inside with the SOFLAM. Once the bombing has stopped lean round the entrance and take out the four soldiers heading towards you. Head into the camp and use the available cover to take out the remaining enemies inside. Once the camp is clear head back out to the train tracks and continue to follow them sticking to the left hand side. Stop behind the mound on the left and look across the bridge. You should just about be able to make out a tank coming towards you so use the SOFLAM to mark it and watch as it's destroyed.
Now head across the bridge and take out any remaining troops. Continue to the set of stairs on the right and go down them. You need to plant four demo charges down here so do this leaving the one nearest the stairs until last, as you won't have very long to get clear of the explosion. Go back up to the tracks and continue across the bridge, keeping to the right. A train will arrive and stop before the hole you just made in the bridge. Run up the steps you come to and shoot the soldier who emerges from the train. Peer into the train through the open door and kill the two enemies inside then go back out and take out another group of soldiers attacking from the north, looking out for one up in a guard tower. Now head over to the north camp and kill the two soldiers who come running out. Stay at the entrance and lean round to pick off the enemies inside. Slowly move inside and head west, killing any remaining enemies then shoot the generator in the alley with a grenade to cut off the power supply and complete the mission.
Mission 14 - Paik's Revenge
Break through Paik's defences
Defeat Major General Paik
Visibility is very poor in this mission so you'll have to keep your eyes open for enemies appearing out of the snow. Move forward and look down over the ridge to see a group of enemies below. Take them out then continue forward and look up to see some sandbags on the top of the hill with two more soldiers. Close in until you can see them then shoot them both. Now head east and you should see two more enemies near the trees so take them out. Move towards the trees but look out for two more enemies attacking from the northwest.
Continue west then shoot the soldier operating the mounted machine gun at the top of the hill to the north. Continue north to the hole in the wall and kill the guard standing in it. Move up to the hole but don't go through it. Lean round and shoot the enemy on the roof who is holding a rocket launcher. There's another enemy on the same roof and three more below on the ground so take them out before heading through the hole. Move down to the container and lean round to the left to see another enemy and shoot him. Move northwest and shoot the three enemies coming down the road then move back behind the nearest container as a tank arrives. Lean out and fire a rocket to destroy the tank then head up the road it just came down. Keep to the right and crouch down then move slowly round the corner. Shoot enemies as you see them ahead, looking out for one up in the tower and another operating the mounted machine gun. There will be more ahead that you can't see so move forward quickly and shoot the two through the fence on the right and use the base of the tower as cover while you take out the rest of the soldiers ahead.
Now move to the building on the left, watch through the window as Paik kills himself then go back down and south over to the missile, killing the three enemies around it. Plant three demo charges around the base then defend your position against the enemy attack using the available cover until the extraction chopper arrives to end the mission. Enjoy!
