Xbox 360 Shipments for Christmas?

Still hoping to pick up an Xbox 360 before the holidays? Doubting that Microsoft would leave many people hanging, and jumping on rumours that they produced more than reported, USA Today is reporting that Microsoft is sending out more shipments for arrival later this week. If this is truly part of a Microsoft "weekly replenishment strategy," then is there hope for next week, and the week after? Microsoft isn't saying specifically. Tips for getting an xbox 360 sooner than later..... keep on eye on retailers that don't allow pre-orders, such as Best Buy, Target, and CostCo. However, these retailers are strictly dependent on how many systems are actually shipped to them, meaning very few systems could actually be found on shelves. Either way, if you're seriously looking to get an Xbox 360 before February, you'd best start scouring your local retailers now. So when will you be able to walk in and buy an Xbox 360 off the shelf? Most stores we called gave estimates of "walk in" purchases being a reality in mid-to-late January. Some stores even bumped their predictions to early February...which, if accurate, would be over three months after the Xbox 360 launch. What does that mean? The party will die before you get yours and Microsoft will bite the bullet again. Join DVG Forums 4 FREE! Only takes 5 seconds to join!
