Rumors sugges the North American release will be a November launch, but Microsoft has declined to comment. The finaly price has been reported to be higher than $299, but again, Microsoft has refused to elaborate.

And then there's the whole HD-DVD confusion. Will the unit get an HD-DVD upgrade later, will there be an add-on upgrade of some sort, or will Microsoft forgoe HD-DVD support altogether?

At least we know one thing: how the Xbox 360 will look. A series of leaked photographs, taken at a European Microsoft event in Spain not only show pictures, but specifications as well. One picture is attached below.
