According to the PlayStation 3 specifications page, the PS3 will not ship with an included hard drive. The list states that the PS3 will support a detachable 2.5" hard disk drive. All storage media (HDD, "Memory Stick", SD memory card, and CompactFlash) will be sold separately.

On the upside, it also confirms that the PS3 will support Bluetooth 2.0, integrated Wi-Fi, and a host of other drool-worthy features.
