GTA 4 will not support online gameplay in any way, shape, or form. The game is reportedly too big to support any worthwhile online play so the creators left the feature out completely. Join DVG Forums 4 FREE! Only takes 5 seconds to join!

GTA 4 Countryside Environment Just as Entertaining

IGN has reported new description regarding the countryside elements of Grand Theft Auto 4. The final size of this particular environment is unknown at this time. The land area in San Andreas is huge and as an example, IGN witnessed travel back from one of the game's several small towns to Los Santos over the span of nearly twenty minutes. Both the brand new Monster Truck vehicle, a dirty lawnmower-sounding dirt bike, and an airplane were used as transportation. Sounds big to me. Rockstar has confirmed about a dozen or so small townships scattered throughout the countryside area -- with each possessing their own unique look, theme, and citizen mentality. The general theme will surround the 1980s-era California cities of Lancaster and Palmdale. Angel Pine comes complete with its own mom and pop liquor store, a quaint little bakery, a single-screen theater, and a humorously-named motel known as "U-Get-In." Additionally, there were a ton of single-wide trailers on the edge of town in addition to a mix of dirt roads and pave streets that should strike an immediate chord with anyone who's ever taken You can even explore the gigantic mountain face located within one of the towns. And while you're exploring the outback, pick up a mission to take out a government witness by plowing through FBI agents....Anyways, stay tuned for more updates. Finally it has arrived! What are your thoughts? Post your reviews or hints and just general discussion here. I personally think the game is the best of the year. I could do without the constant pumping of iron and eating, but what you gonna do, a simple trade off for the HUGE and comprehensive levels.

I've personally always thought the GTA series in general were the best games on the PS2 based on gameplay and graphics. It seriously blow any other game on the PS2 out of the water. I'm afraid to see what GTA could look like on the PS3, cause right now it looks like a Xbox game graphics wise. Definately a must have for those old enough to play it. Join DVG Forums 4 FREE!
