Front Mission 4 Review

I placed this 'mech' like game in the strategy section gamers need to know something about Front Mission 4. Although it has state of the art/pleasnat graphics, there are mutiple times in the game when the user wants to run around and shoot. Action thriller this game is not, however, slow and detailed turn-based stategy game it is. Tacticians will love it, action fans will hate it.
The story is driven by extensive cinematics, and albeit great ones at that. The problem is, you feel as if the cut-scenes were the focu, and the gameplay has been left out to dry. I found that gameplay was sometimes slow, and upgrading took to long to acquire. If it's a strategy mech game you're looking for, then I'd give Front Mission 4 a chance. Deep planning and long battles will keep you occupied for hours, just beware walking aroud and strategising may be your only gameplay for extended periods.
