ESPN NFL 2K5 - Review

I played ESPN NFL 2K5 last night and all I can say is WOW. The game graphics wise is amazing. Yea the crows is still the cheesy 2D anime, but my budddy and I felt as we were playing a real game on TV. I'm not talking about the replays, and their graphics, but real-time graphics were amazing. The faces of individual players still looks constructed, but that will improve with time. I the sound and comments were ok, not explosive or FANTASTIC, but still good. I felt the play selection was at times confusing, but that's only because there were tons of palys to choose from, and a bit more complicated. FOr those looking for an NFL Blitz style, then maybe the play selection will annoy you, otherwise it should be good. All in all pick up this title for you and your buddies, you can't go wrong. MAdden will probably be better, but who cares, ESPN delivers.

NFL 2k5 has been outselling Madden according to a variety of news sources. The reason? The quality of NFL 2k5 and the price. I've played 2k5 and I was amazed at the graphics. Don't get me wrong Madden is great too, but for 20.00 USD compared to the Madden 50USD, you can't go wrong with the cheaper one. The quality and content is by equal to Madden on a number of levels, hence why it's success at the check out. Pick up either title, but the cheaper one if you're short on cash, you're not forgeoing anything other than brand. Join the forum and enter to win free monthly prize giveaways!
