what are the best RPG for PC windows?	Can't Post

I'm relatively new to the role-playing world of the PC platform. I've been playing Diablo for sometime, but want to get a new game. I don't like playing on-line. What are the best RPGs for windows that I could just play by myself??
I've heard warcraft is good, but do you have to play on-line? and what would I need to buy to get started - I noticed there are expansions etc...
Any help here would be appreciated. thanks, wendy

LOL!! This is so funny because I was coming here to post this EXACT same question. I too love RPG's but do not enjoy playing online. I have never played Diablo but my favorite thus far has been Oblivion. I am looking for one that is similar in style to Oblivion. In addition I have also enjoyed the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series (1 and 2). So that is my suggestion to you, and if anyone else can add to our question it would be extremely appreciated.
