SuperPower 2 Preview Can't Post

SuperPower 2 is a geopolitical simulation game that allows players to control entire countries for world domination. If you feel the need to exert political influence within the realm of gamplay, then SuperPower 2 may be the answer. Players control countries in 3 major areas: political, economic and military in real-time 3D environment.

You will build up your own countries and increase their influence in the world while competing against a relatively sophisticated A.I. Along the way, players make use of economic sanctions, political alliances, and military actions to wage their battles. Players have the ability to fine-tune each country’s performance, from creating or breaking treaties, to making tactical decisions in particular military conflicts. SuperPower 2 is also completely moddable. Tools will be released with the game to allow everyone individually customize the game. Dedicated modders will be able to create completely separate mods, set in worlds totally different from the SP2 context.

SuperPower 2 Features Include:

- 193 real countries, each equipped with realistic data drawn from the U.S. Military’s databases.
- Sophisticated A.I. designed to realistically simulate each country
- Real-life combat situations, with multiple forces joining and leaving battles as the balance of power shifts
- Real-time and turn-base gameplay
- Modular units building

Multiplayer:

- SuperPower 2 supports multi-player for LAN and Internet play.
- Multiplayer for up to 32 players in a variety of styles, including world domination, economic master, and many others.

Re: [Barry] SuperPower 2 Preview [In reply to] Can't Post

I wasn't able to get into this game, it was to difficult to sit down and play. The learning curve was huge. I won't buy the new one for this reason. Besides I heard there was problems of always ending in nuclear war, major problems in the code.
