Doom 3 Brief Review

Doom 3 is a classic first person shooter that doesn't deviate from typical first person shooter gameplay. Some may call this a con, but others like me would call this a moot issue. Doom 3 doesn't upgrade in terms of the formula id Software used in past editions, but this doesn't detract from gameplay.
For months and months all we've been hearing from developers regarding release date was 'it'll come out when it's ready, we want every aspect of Doom 3 to be perfect.' They've done a fantastic job, thank goodness they decided to hang onto Doom 3 for a bit longer. The graphics are impecable. They are amazing, just as promised. The sound is eerie, no wait, the sound and environments will--with out a doubt--make you scream like a little school girl. But that's fine with me because Doom 3 is everything we expected and more. Pick up this title, it's a hit, but pay attention to the ESRB rating of M.
