Call of Duty - PC Review Can't Post

Well this will be a brief review regarding Call of Duty. I know it's an old game but I picked it up and gave it a whirl. Didin't take me long to pass on Greenhorn but I was nonetheless entertained by the general gameplay. After playing Battlefield for a bit it was a nice change. The game is slightly different in terms of gameplay and graphics, but it makes it up for a cool storylines and interaction. I miss the abilities to control your team, but I guess you don't really need to since it's basically shoot everything that moves and whoever needs to be alive for the sake of gameplay will remain.

Some cool features included some interactive environments, blowing up buildings with the tanks, and using some vehicles. Actually I found the tank level to be a bit of an add on. You can't control secondary firing with it so basically it felt like you were driving a box with a cannon. Only one level with it though so no big loss.

I'm using a P4, 512 ram, with no provision such as 3-D graphics accelerator. The graphics were OK, not mind boggling, but my system didn't do it justice, meaning I couldn't play on the best mode. I suppose as of the present the game is a bit outdated, but I still found it entertaining. Overall it was a bit short in terms of length, maybe a couple more scenarios for the American/British side; which I found more entertaining than the Russian. Haven't played mutiplayer yet, however, I'm have the expansion pack and will post a review regarding United Offensive in a bit.
