Battlefield Desert Combat PC Game Review Can't Post

Desert Combat is the Desert Storm 'expansion pack' to Battlefield 1942 that introduced units from the gulf war in the early 90's. The game replays all the missions as 1942, plus a few more including a neat Basra map, the only exception is you're tha Americans with their firepower blowing up the Iraqi's in the middle of Kursk...... I find Desert Combat to be entertaining, the vehicles neat and playable, and the competition to be illequipped.....as expected. It's a great add on to Battlefield that was actually the main reason why I picked up the original. You need the altest patch, v1.6, to play Desert Combat. A few new maps make things interesting and fun, meaning you can come back to this game despite the fact it doesn't take long to pass. Once again my major problem with it is not graphics or lack of creativity with mission, but the use of aerial units. What's the point of flying a warhog if you're doing one passover in - what - 1.6 seconds? Not fun in my opinion. But that's about my only qualm with the expansion pack. Download it and have fun.
