EA Sports Nascar Web Racing, the only free Nascar-licensed racing game on the Web, arrives to racing fans worldwide. Produced by Electronic Arts' online division, EA Sports Nascar Web Racing allows players to choose real Nascar Nextel Cup Series drivers, such as Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jimmie Johnson; official stock cars; real NASCAR tracks; and real NASCAR elements, such as drafting, passing and pit stops.
Other game features include:
-- Real drivers (Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Dale Jarrett, Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick)
-- Real tracks (Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Infineon Raceway)
-- Real NASCAR action, such as drafting, passing, pit stops and car damage - factors that ultimately affect racing ability
-- The ability to form alliances and create rivalries with opponents on the track
-- Two game modes: "Single Race" mode for a quick race, or "Season Mode" for a full season based on a point system, culminating in the "Championship Series"
-- Several optional help features to improve driving and chances of winning
Players also have a chance to win prizes by earning EA Online tokens when they place in the following categories - Finish, Best Time, Low Fuel Bonus, and Difficulty Modifier. During the race, users also will earn bonus tokens for passing, drafting and making allies.
