Gamepad Issue	Can't Post

Hi guys,

Hoping somebody may be able to point out the obvious. I bought my son a PC3200 Saitek Gamepad for xmas and upon installing to use with Gears Of War the damned game refuses to accept it.

The setup software shows the pad is detected and communicating with the PC but no go with the game. This is the only game I have on the system at the moment until I get a new HD so can't check on anything else. Would Gears need to be re-installed to detect? (Would seem very strange if so).

Any help greatly appreciated to stop my son wanting to tear me a new one this weekend!!
