3d websites, will they catch on?

I came across this website, www.budbucks.co.uk, its a promo/advertisement thing for budweiser. What interests me is the way they have designed a kind of "3d" website, that you move around by clicking, kind of like that old game Myst, but animated. Has anyone seen any other websites that work like this? If they were not too hard to make, I could imagine other big companies doing this, as it adds another dimension (literally ) to web browsing. It would be a lot of fun to search on google, then walk down a hallway to see all the results, though I guess it could get old fast. I suppose the reason I have not seen something similar before is because it would be almost impossible on dialup. What do you think?

Thats a really nice website, love the 3d look to it! I saw a new budweiser advert online today, someone posted it to youtube. Glad to see they still have really humourous advertisements, this guy gets dragged inside his fridge tryin to steal his friends bud lol. I think there a few in the compilation, jus search for them on youtube.

btw since I last posted Ive become a bit addicted to the auction section on that budbucks site. I was so close to winning an xbox 360 but missed out cos I was outbid last minute. it didnt even go for very much. I only wish they had more console related things on there, there's an xbox 360 game pack to bid for but I didnt win the xbox360 so its no use to me now lol. Im gonna wait for a PS3 to appear on there... then it shall be mine! :P
