Revolutions in the making....

June 2004 brought some exciting news from Nintendo. President Satoru announced the next generation of handheld gaming set to replace the Gamboy Advanced, code named 'Revolutions', is set to revamp the mobile gaming market. Citing concerns about slowing sales, and consumers unwillingness to be swayed by more powerful engines and better graphics, Satoru promised to spearhead the next generation of mobile gaming. So what type of precendent setting initiatives can Nintendo make that will redefine the industry? I'm thinking the console, which is touted to be more powerful than the current GameCube, will have a wireless function attached, for mobile gaming with others, and perhaps some crazy technological advancement we haven't thought up yet. However one way to appease the market would be to provide a mobile gaming solution that doesn't skyrocket in price. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
