If you played the first version of Pikmin on Gamecube back in 2001, you found you either tolerated the gameplay, loved the gameplay, or promptly spat out the disc and walloped it agains the wall. Pikmin 2 is a good follow up to the original tactical strategy game that required thinking rather than muscle. You return to the planet that once saved you as Captain Olimar, with the intent of preventing your company from going bankrupt.... You and your sidekick Louis must salvage the treasure.... backruptcy to treasure... ok. As usual, you have manipulate the Pikmin's to accomplish you objectives, much like the first one. A new, fatter, strong, Pimin is available. Pick up this title for the kids, it'll keep the adults busy for a good 30 hours. If you liked the original then the sequel does well to attract your business again. If not, maybe you'll be impressed with the new content, but I doubt that.
