TimeSplitters 2 was a great FPS video game packed with quick game progression and easy controls. However, one of the main problems with the original TimeSplitters was its poor single-player mode. Will the third installment prove to be worth the trip?
Developer Free Radical Design made the control mechanics easy to master, delivering the closest console recreation of the mouse-and-keyboard gameplay found in PC shooters. Future Perfect picks up where 2 left off, this time throwing players into the role of marine Cortez, who finds himself on the offense. After the humans learn that theTimeSplitters were created by an entity known only as Crow sometime in the past, they send Cortez on a mission through time to track this character down and put a stop to his creation, thus eliminating the alien threat once and for all. Future Perfect sports better graphics, brand new locales, scripted scenarios, and new weapons and items. The GameCube version of Future Perfect will not feature an online mode like its PS 2 and Xbox.
