Metroid Prime 3 Preview Details Emerge Can't Post
Official Metroid site Luminoth Temple aired an interview with some new information regarding Metroid Prime 3. According to Nintendo affiliate developer Retro Studios, the third release will arrive on the Revolution console sometime in 2006.

According to the interview, Metroid Prime 3 will continue in the first-person point-of-view and bring closure to the series' story. While Retro touched on the backdrop of an "epic struggle", no other plot tidbits were revealed.

Retro also remarked on a substantial performance upgrade by taking advantage of the next-generation hardware, hinting at even more of a performance boost than took place from the first Metroid Prime to the second. It will also take advantage of the Revolution's rumored new features, including a touchpad-based controller.
