Starflight by EA , anything come close?	Can't Post

Does anyone know of any modern game that comes close to the old megadrive classic Starflight? I used to love this game as it introduced different levels of gameplay, buying and selling weapons and minerals, space flight, orbiting planets, landing on planets, navigation and inter race communication.
Most games ive seen now just jump between say a space station and a planet with a clip of a spaceship breaking orbit. They are missing a whole part of what makes a game feel like you are actually involved in its environment.
Ive got a 360 now and a decent XPS laptop so any suggestions that could be used on those platforms would be greatly appreciated.
