Gizmondo Europe Ltd announced it has retained Indigo Pearl Ltd for the final consumer PR drive through to the UK launch of its much anticipated, handheld games console. Carl Freer, Managing Director, Gizmondo, says: "Indigo Pearl has a far-reaching history publicising games and game technology in the UK. The development of a PR agenda that engages the early adopter, the hardcore gamer, and the casual gamer is very important to us, and we're looking forward to working closely with Indigo Pearl to ensure this is achieved over the coming months."
James Beaven, Company Director, Indigo Pearl, says: "The Gizmondo is a superb piece of technology and extremely desirable. The team and I are delighted to be working on the UK launch, and we bring with us over 30 combined years of videogames and consumer media experience."
The Gizmondo device and its games are due for launch in the UK in the fourth quarter 2004 and in North American markets in 2005.
