Gizmondo Europe released Gizmondo Motocross 2005 for the multi-entertainment handheld. The off-roader racing game from Fathammer features eight bikes and nine mud-drenched tracks. Packed with mid-air mayhem, players will be rewarded for stunts and tricks performed at the rider's peril with nitro boosts. The all-action game is priced at GBP19.99, and includes four modes of play: Cup, Quick Race, Ghost Race and Multiplayer.
Cup mode consists of a series of races, each increasing in difficulty. Place 1st or 2nd to unlock new tracks for Quick Race, Ghost Race, and Multiplayer. Quick Race is for the action junkie looking for a quick fix. Select from your unlocked bikes and tracks, and race against three other riders. Completing the objectives on the tracks unlocks new bikes to ride. In Ghost Race when you're the best there is, who else is there to compete with but yourself? Start a Ghost Race to go up against your best performance on a selected track and perfect your time. Multiplayer allows you to race against a friend using the Gizmondo's
wireless Bluetooth connectivity. One player hosts the game and the second player joins it when prompted on screen - simplicity itself.
