Bad Video Games. Video Games Good or Bad?
 |
| Syphon Filter - The Omega Strain
: PS2 : April 2004 |
|
What once was a unique concept for PS1
has turned into an utter disaster for PS2. Syphon Filter
the Omega Strain is nothing short of bad. Very difficult
third person controls make game play horrendous. To
make matters worse, you can't change the control
settings, therefore any attempt to remedy the stupid key
patterns is gone. Game wise, there's tons of ammo, you can
carry four different weapons, lots of killing, but enemies
keep regenerating, it never end! The training missions
are useless, which only compounds the problems with
this game. Some of the objectives along with the story
line are interesting, but that's one of few pros. Actually,
add great music, design, and graphics, but that's
all for not since the controls are so difficult. I'd avoid
this bad video game, it's not a good 'investment' for PS2
gamers. Check out more video game reviews within

| Siren : PS2
: May 2004 |
|
Firstly, this game will give you
nightmares, guaranteed. This video game review of
Siren suggets that the game does have some
strong features ranging from high quality
photorealistic graphics, o a unique storyline and
gameplay. However, the game is so unique that the
controls may be its worst enemy. I have heard of
countless people getting frustrated with the
gamplay, unable to move past the first zombie....
One hit and you're done, and don't even try to fight
back, your skinny asian arms won't do much damage.
The ambiance in Siren is creepy, the sound effects
are creepy, and the soundtrack is all around creepy.
Get the picture? Short missions is another deterrent
when deciding on this title. A whole new level of
innovation emerges with Siren, thus adventure
enthusiasts may want to pick this one up,
but the rest may want to stay away. |

| Terminator 3 -
The Redemption : All less GameCube |
|
I'll be honest, I haven't heard
one good thing about this game. Sure it looks
great, if it were played on an N64 that is.
Everything is blurry, and enemies look like dots
until they come within 2 feet from your nose.
Gameplay is tough, auto-aim is useless, and
sound effects were lame. Every system provides
the same junk; in fact it's so bad that plans
for the GameCube were scrapped (unofficial
information) Not much else to say about this
flop, the Terminator series just seems to produce
bad video games. I'm not even going to put a pic up. |

| Samurai
Jack : GameCube : March 2004 |
|
I'm fighting as a cartoon! And
that about sums up the pros for this video game review.
If you picked up a GameCube controller for the
first time, and play this game, you'll be
done in a days work. Gameplay is terribly
simple for this third person action 'thriller'.
The game is repetitive and boring after the 1st
five minutes, and short. Stay away, very far
away. More video game reviews located within

| Breed :
PC : May 2004 |
|
Breed video games good or bad?
Well how about do the world a favour and do
not buy this game. What the heck is it? Touted
as a Halo wannabe with more guns and vehicles,
Breed fails at every turn. The sound is terrible,
gameplay is boring, FAR too many bugs to deal with,
and the graphics are terribly simple. Ok, the
vehicles at times can be fun, but why would I
buy a game to drive around colourless ships?
I defy any of you to find someone who a) was
stupid enough to buy this game, and b) was
stupid enough to enjoy it. |
